We are pleased to add drums to our extensive list of instruments and welcome the teacher onto our directory. Tuition will be available from September This year we have offered a Service to Schools and it has proved to be very successful, particularly in ukulele tuition. One school commented 'the feedback from the ukulele sessions is extremely positive .......thanks very much, we are very happy'. Ukuleles are small affordable instruments, relatively easy to play and with a few chords you can be soon strumming along to well known tunes. Schools are sometimes able to obtain funding to help finance music projects. Afterschool groups for parent and child have also proved to be extremely popular. We are able to offer whole class, small group, or individual tuition, depending on the instrument. We welcome enquiries from schools and are happy to discuss any specific needs and ideas a Head/Music co-ordinator may have. Courses of study can be tailored to the individual requirements of the school, over a number of weeks, or as a day or half day workshop. We are finding that teachers in the Tees Valley area are increasingly showing interest in Cleveland School of Music and are approaching us for inclusion on to the Teachers' Directory; however we continue to be selective to ensure that the best possible service and the excellent reputation of Cleveland School of Music as a provider of quality music tuition, is maintained. As ever, we are actively looking for suitable teachers to join the directory, in particular, singing/voice coaching and violin teachers.
